There's a Namur in Belgium, one in Wisconsin, and this one on Route 323.

Namur was founded around 1870 by settlers from Namur, Belgium, and the connection never faded. Every three years the Fêtes Namuroises bring together this Namur, the Belgian one and the one in Wisconsin. Saint-Paul church in the centre is tied to the whole history of the place.
For a village of a few hundred people there's a fair bit here: an English-language elementary school, two gas stations, a grocery store and a hardware store. Forestry still matters, with the Forespect sawmill keeping local people employed.
Every late summer the Festival du Bûcheron reminds everyone of that. With kids, head to Parc Caracole, then wander the jardin de la relève with its artist-built cabins.
