What is saved
- Emergency numbers, help lines and public services
- The pages of the 25 towns, their weather and their waste collection calendar
- The business and services directory, with search
- Upcoming events
- The Conditions and Road conditions pages, with the latest copy of the data
Photos are saved in a small size to keep the package light. Other pages stay available offline once you have opened them.
Light updates
When you open the site with a connection, only the pages that changed are downloaded again, at most twice a day. If your phone’s data saver mode is on, nothing is downloaded unless you ask.
Weather, fires and roads
Weather, fire danger, fire bans, road conditions and river levels come directly from official sources. With no signal, you see the last copy received, with its date and time. Before you hit the road or light a fire, always check the official source as soon as you have a signal.
