The food bank for Val-des-Bois and Bowman is run entirely by volunteers. It provides emergency food assistance and community kitchens, and each year organizes the Christmas 'Magasin-Partage' and a food drive.

Val-des-Bois and Bowman Women's Circle (Cercle de Fermières)
Active since 1938, the circle brings together about forty members for textile crafts, cooking and mutual support. It runs the Christmas bazaar and the bingo at the country festival, and gives handmade pieces to seniors and the sick.

This club for people aged 50 and over in Val-des-Bois offers military whist on Tuesday afternoons from September to May. In summer, it holds Tuesday morning games (pétanque, mini-golf, horseshoes, bean bags) and a picnic in August.
